Heltzer Furniture
Heltzer was founded in 1986 as a way to explore Michael’s art school experience and interest in design and architecture. Within years the company quickly grew into a major design and manufacturing organization with as many as 30 craftsmen producing over 200 original designs. His unique approach of using the combinations of metals such as stainless steel, titanium and bronze with teak wood and silicon gels garnered both design awards and editorial features that graced the covers and design sections of The New York Times, Metropolitan Home, Elle Decor, Interior Design, Dwell and GQ as well as over 100 newspapers and journals. Many pieces from the Heltzer collection were featured in residential and commercial projects worldwide and are now considered collectables.
In 2019, Heltzer Outdoor was launched with a selection of Heltzer classics and the introduction of several new designs.
